I was involved with a woman who told me over two years that she loved me; yet she would never listen to me or express interest in my feelings.  In fact she would deliberately hurt me, such as cheating on me and making clear to her friends that she had, so it would get back to me.  Then, she would continue to tell me she loved me.  I now know that is not love.  I love Leslie and wish her the ability to love herself so that she can discover how to love.
